These settlers were different not only because of where they came from but by race, origin country, and language. Many could tell where the people came from becauseof their skin color such as Africans were dark skinned and this was associated to Africa, Asians also were easier to tell their country of origin. People of Spanish decent were also easy to tell since their language was different than the English spoken by many. There were also differences in how they approached living in the New World such as when it came to their relationships with the Native Indian tribes the English colonist in the beginning were friendly and traded with them but over time they felt that the Indians were greedy and this lead to many fights between the twoMed. The French on the other hand respected the Indians and did not try to convert them to Christianity and this helped to them make quick allies of the Indians.
